Sea Force IX Introduces their “S/S “(Serious Sportfishing) Line of
Performance Sport Fish for the Serious Blue Water Sportsman
For the few serious sportsmen who want a proven performance platform to base their next sport fishing vessel on, Sea Force IX is developing their “SS ” Line of Performance Sport Fish to meet the demands of all weather offshore fishing. The 61.5, 66.5 and 71.5 are based on Sea Force IX’s patent pending hull recipe, rugged monolithic construction, economical operation and dynamic maneuverability benchmarks set with their 81.5 to 91.5 sport yachts over the past eight years.
The standard power will be MTU engines with Cats and the Volvo/IPS drives also available. The preliminary projections look to a top end approaching 45 knots with a mid 30k economy cruises attainable. Tank testing is an important step in the Sea Force IX development methodology and the upcoming test will dial in the “SS” series weight and performance numbers as it did for their 81.5 and 91.5. Rounding out the standard equipment will be a comprehensive list that experience has proven necessary to meet any situation offshore fishing can present. Fully founded is the way we describe our standard vessels with a very short option list.
The Sea Force IX “Monolithic construction methodology”, proven to meet the rigorous challenges of the open water, will be used for these vessels. All vinylester resin, non-woven glass and vacuumed bagged foam core is our foundation. Before entering production, all the major glass components are baked for full cure and stabilization. Built upon this solid start is a vessel with all components from bulkheads to soles to decks down to the individual interior components bonded together as one single unit with epoxy resin and non-woven glass. A process production builders and cold molded builders cannot deliver.
Sea Force IX’s philosophy in developing the interior arrangements is to provide “real people” accommodations. Real beds that can be easily made, real showers with plenty of hot water and real comfort. All detailed to a fit and finish that cannot be surpassed.
Likewise, the exterior will have an immaculate paint job that has been fully fared with the Awlgrip system ending with a multiple layer topcoat. The cockpit has all the features a serious fisherman would expect with individual customization available.
All totaled, the Force IX “SS ” line of performance sport fishing machines are not intended for the boating masses. We intentionally break ranks from the production boat building focus group mentality and the Outer Banks boys.
We stand alone, confident on our experience and processes that result in a masterpiece for the few who know what they want and are willing to work with us to make it happen.
Sea Force IX is in the final stages of development of their 94.5 Skybridge Sport Yacht. This will be the top of the 81.5-91.5 line of multi-purpose sport yachts. In the beginning development stage is the Global Series of Sport Yachts from 106.5 to 115.5 .
