The Force IX line of Performance Sport Fishing Yachts, offered at 61.5', 76.5’, 81.5’, 86.5’ and now 91.5’ are the vision of a few uniquely experienced individuals and the product of a group of talented industry veterans working towards a clear and concise plan for their product. These dynamic power yachts are being built under the corporate umbrella of Sea Force IX, Inc., a full service marine contractor centrally located on the West Coast of Florida.

The graceful yet powerful profiles take the classic sport fishing look to the next generation. The hull is founded on a “full lifting” bottom geometry recipe that has been proven in the Stevens Institute of Technology towing tank and on the open seas of the world. The dynamic lift generated by the hull bottom insures stability and dry, flat running while the modest keel provides dead-on tracking and fingertip steering. Both the classic “Open Bridge” and fully enclosed “Command Bridge” configurations boast clean, sweeping lines brought together with sculpted corners and enhanced with tasteful style lines to form a stunning three-dimensional form. New to the line for ’05 is the optional “Sky Bridge” being offered on the 81.5, 86.5 and 91.5 and the “Fresh Air Bridge” being developed for the 76.5.

In keeping with Sea Force IX’s philosophy of tasteful luxury for the owner and a modest number of guest and/or crew, each vessel will be offered with two standard floor plans. Common to all four vessels is the multi-function salon level with every convenience for total enjoyment and entertainment. Forward and down a level are the staterooms that can be accessed by a traditional one-side companionway design or the unique “Double Entry” layout. This double entry feature, seen in much larger yachts, offers the owner a private entrance to the master stateroom. Various standard décor selections are suggested with interior customizing available on an individual basis.

Also unique to the Force IX fleet is the aft “Leisure Deck” and cockpit layout. The leisure deck is an extension of the salon and the primary traffic pattern for the boat. One step down on each side are the comfortable boarding platforms. Two steps down from there is the “Pit” with a panorama of dive, fishing and entertainment services and the engine room entrance that serves as a private entrance to the crew stateroom. The 76.5 is available with an innovative take on the traditional bait and tackle center as well. The cockpit layouts have been reviewed and acknowledged by experts in big game fishing and can be custom tuned to the individual’s requirements.

The hull, stringer grid, structural bulkheads and superstructure are built with quality, high heat rated materials to rigid standards verified by a comprehensive quality control program. These parts are then baked to assure full chemical cure in preparation for the urethane paint job. All structural components in the vessel are secondary bonded with epoxy and fiberglass. Interior cabinetry and components are likewise attached, completing the rugged Sea Force IX’s *“Monolithic” method of construction.

Mechanical and electrical installations are executed to a level unattainable in a production yacht. Accessibility for maintenance, safety, and trouble free operation from the propulsion engines to the smallest pump is second only to the extensive list of standard equipment. Custom electrical panels, fuel management via transfer and polishing systems and a complete hydraulic system for the bow thruster and anchor windlass are engineered and installed into each vessel.
